Our goal is to ensure your show is progressing throughout the season and that things like costumes and flags are ordered and delivered in time for the show! Staging and Drill Design for Winter Guard and Marching Band

With our Pyware experts and Staging crew, you'll know exactly what to do.

CGD offers a variety of staging options for your High School Winter Guard (Scholastic), or Independent Winter Guards. We will collaborate to create the best production for your team that balances advanced skills with the physical capabilities of your cast.

Our highly capable drill writers can furnish a range from simple drill sheets to full Pyware drill sets with a video of drill throughout the entire show. In addition to winter guard, CGD offers marching band drill and show design services. Check out some of our previous work!

Marching Arts Choreography for Dance and Equipment

The CGD Squad will work to provide your program with top notch choreography that can boost your program’s vocabulary scores as well as provide a technical foundation within your show to support the cast. We love to be creative, fun, and challenging in our writing. But we are also aware that groups come in all talent levels and are able to accommodate all groups no matter what level to meet the participants where they are at in terms of technical capability.

Design and Production of Custom Costumes, Flags, Floors, Props, etc.

We offer flag design and printing services, custom costume designs, team show shirts and other apparel, show logos and promotional videos, floor designs for print or paint, and much more. Additionally, we can hook you up with equipment, custom props and banners, and pretty much anything you need to get your show from concept to championships.

Our production partners, such as Digital Performance Gear, are among the highest quality in the industry. Through our partners, we can offer a wide range of styles, fabrics, and even construction of props for a very reasonable price. Through our experience, we know when to set deadlines for design and production, so we can ensure your costumes are delivered in time for show and can even get you quality costumes if production lead times exceed the time until show.

Custom Music Composition and Arrangement

We’ve partnered with Leyda Music to offer custom music composition for your marching band, orchestra, chambers, ensembles, and more. This allows our team to design and procure your entire show while only having to deal with two vendors. We can even help you get it onto the field with our camps and clinics. Don’t stress out this year, let us take care of absolutely everything for you.

Included with our music packages is the Director’s Score, parts for all instruments, sampler score for all sound design cues, synth score, a MainStage file, lossless audio samples (.wav), and more. We promise to deliver something you’re satisfied with that’s also within the capability of your students. We even include re-writes, free of charge. We use Logic Pro to design our music using a combination of vst instruments and live audio clips and we can even include custom lyrics and studio recordings. Each show is designed to work seamlessly with MainStage for live performances.

Show in a Box

The Squad is working hard to convert all our favorite and best show designs into digital packages for you to purchase and ease the stress of the season. These packages will include instructional services alongside the show design if so desired. Show in a Box is great way to get something onto the floor or field quickly and have a track record of success when executed as designed.

Our Show in a Box packages include costumes, flags, props, music, drill, choreography, equipment, and everything else needed for a complete show. Additionally, we can design custom Show in a Box packages for your marching band or winter guard program, including the production of costumes, props, flags, and even the custom composition the music.
